Despite being a third the size of the United States, India is a true giant in terms of population. In fact, it’s home to more people than the entire continent of Africa! Recently, India even surpassed China as the world’s most populous country, with a staggering 1.4 billion people.

Indian culture is rooted in over 3,500 years of rich history and traditions. From it, several religions, including Hinduism and Buddhism, developed, and a quarter of the planet now follows them.

Today, 95% of India have never heard about Jesus. Anti-conversion laws, poverty, persecution, and a recent surge of violence against Christians have tried to choke out the Gospel. But, in this nation where thousands of vengeful gods and local deities are worshiped and where belief in the endless cycle of death and reincarnation is prevalent, people are searching for hope.

India is primed for the radical spread of the Gospel!

It’s more imperative than ever that pastors are empowered to stand firm on the Word of God and are prepared to disciple those who are coming to Christ. That’s why we are on a mission to translate our entire four-year curriculum into Hindi. This project will open the door to bring training in Biblical studies, leadership, and community development to countless leaders who lack access to such resources.

When the church is equipped, trained, and empowered to “go,” we will see the Gospel take root and millions of lives transformed across India!
