Lack of Bible and ministry training can cause the church leadership to become divided, the members to become complacent, and the Gospel to be mixed with local superstitions. In recent years, governments have begun to require pastors to hold degrees, resulting in thousands of churches shutting down.
We work with leaders all over the world who have never been trained, though many of them have always dreamed of being able to pursue their education.
We have found that when the pastors are trained, a big vision is planted. Instead of looking only within the four walls of their church building, pastors realize their call to build bridges within their communities. And enthusiasm spreads.
As pastors are trained, they take what they learn and teach their congregations. The result is hundreds of churches empowered to be the hands and feet of Christ in their communities.
In these communities, churches double and triple in size. In fact, our graduates have planted over 3,000 churches! Pastors preach with authority and confidence, knowing what they say is Biblical. Church members are spurred into action as they meet the practical, urgent needs of their community.
“Three new ministry branches have been started since I began attending N2NCU. We had not been able to open a new branch in ten years yet now we have three in one year, and church membership has also increased! We are baptizing more people than ever before; the number has doubled.”
“We almost closed the church. Hatred, mistrust, and pride divided us leaders. Through N2NCU, we sat and learned together. Our eyes opened to our ignorance. We repented, forgave each other, and started fresh. I thank God so much for His amazing love that He showed us by bringing N2NCU to our church here in Burundi.”
